I started running off and on a year ago but really got hooked in the late fall. I'm officially addicted/obsessed with running and hope I can keep running when I get pregnant with our first! I guess I'm more of a recreational runner for the time being but hope to do a little racing in the future! Right now when I run I listen to a wide range of music like the Black Keys El Camino, Imagine Dragons Night Visions, or the Flo Rida station on Pandora. I'm looking for some new music suggestions!
What is currently playing on your iPod?
What is your go to running music?
Re: Fellow running friends
My playlist is super embarrassing. I have absolute crap like Sisqo, mix-a-lot, and britney spears mixed in with some punk rock and electronic dance. Basically anything that's got a good beat and keeps me energized.
This is a little old and out-of-date, as I used it for my first marathon in 2011, but just to give you an idea.

This is a lot like my playlist. I also have a bunch of Van Halen (Dreams, Right Now, Jump) and GnR.
Also, jerseygirl, I am going to do the Flying Pig Marathon this year! I did it last year and loved the race. I am originally from Cincinnati (actually, N.Ky.) and love to go back for the Pig every year. The course is hilly, but it's so much fun.
I love it! I'm tentatively run/walking it this year, depending on how this next week goes. At the minimum I'll be walking the half. I couldn't imagine missing it!

You should check out www.rockmyrun.com
They have lots of playlists that are free to download each month! I think you can even search by bpm if you want to keep up a certain running pace.
Thanks! I will definitely check it out!!
