I start birth control pills Sunday. To prevent pregnancy. So weird!!

I initially asked my OB what she thought about a diaphragm. She then asked me what I thought about getting pregnant again. Yeah...so BCP it is.

Anyone else feel weird TTA? We haven't used protection in over 4 years!

I have my 6 week check next week. Since DH Has azoo the only reason I'd use contraception would be to prevent ovulation and save eggs but I am hoping to do IVF again before Nov if allowed. I can imagine it seeming weird though.

Totally weird. I was on the mini pill till LO turned 6 m then I decided it wasn't worth it. I'm still bf, and if a miracle happens we will gladly take it!

I think we might do some kind of permanent birth control after this baby, but it does seem really crazy since I went off the pill in 2006 and never got pregnant on my own.

After having a getting pregnant on our own this time, I will definitely use some BC after this baby. We would love a 3rd but I need a little time before I am ready again. It's a hard decision to make because I still wonder what if??

That would be so bizarre! I never went back on them after having my baby and I think I kind of laughed at my OB when he went over BC options at my 6 week pp check up.

I just had this talk with my OB. We are choosing not to use any BC. WIth DH's MFI/Azoo our odds are pretty much nonexistent. If by some miracle we do get pregnant, we will be happy. I'm extremely regular also so we might just try to abstain around O time
