Upsetting first ultrasound

I had my first ultrasound this morning. The sac was measuring 11 days behind and they couldn't find a fetal pole. The doctor wasn't optimistic. I have to decide if I want to keep taking my meds and come back next week or let it go. We are devastated. Our numbers looked great and even the dr was surprised. I am so scared to start over but don't know if we should be giving up...

About me 2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!

At tht tiny, we are talking measurements of millimeters. But I would think you

I'm sorry your ultrasound didn't go better. I've been in a similar situation and did end up miscarrying. Losses are always so hard.
I would keep taking the meds and have another ultrasound next week, mainly so that you'll have p

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
