traffic vent

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it here before, but one of the things that gets me down about my job sometimes is my commute.  I literally have one of the worst commutes in the country.  LA was just renamed the most congested city in the country, with the portion of freeway I drive as one of the worst.  It usually takes me a little over an hour each way, but this week has been extra bad.  It's taken me an hour and a half to get to work the last couple days and the other night it took me 3 hours to go the 18 miles to get home!  Fortunately DH was already planning on picking up DD, but I didn't get home until after she was already asleep.  It was horrible, and it's not getting any better any time soon: https://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-405-problems-20130425,0,1726788.story (how do you make it clicky?)

    My commute is towards Chicago everyday. Although I don't go into the city, I am only a few miles from it so my commute everyday is terrible and so irritating! It's usually between 45 mins to an hour and a half. It's a total hit or miss and I just can't

    I am so sorry...I give myself solace knowing I don't live in LA, Chicago...or DFW anymore to be honest. I have al ong commute, but to be fair it's 35 miles away, and it takes me around an hour to and from.

    I live in Chicago on the far NW side so close to Ohare.  My husband takes the Kennedy (the 90) into the loop.  The commute is usually 45 min.  On a great day it can be 30 or less and on a crappy day an hour or more.  It's not the wo

    Yes, my commute is easily 1 hr, but it can easily be 90+min with traffic.  I commute on 95 between Wilmington & Baltimore, and one accident jams the entire road.  It is a main artery between NJ, PA, DE and MD.  Honestly, the only rea

    DC traffic here. Somedays it's easy, breezy, because the problems are not on my stretch, but they are rare. Traffic is the bane of my workweek.
