dark eggs and irregular shape
I have had poor egg quality in previous IVFs due to age. They have fertilized and made it to day 3, but I have not pushed beyond that.
Has anyone gotten pregnant off of eggs that have the above features? I am told these are common issues with women over 40. I have done day 3 fresh transfers because of my fear in not making it to blast. I figure if there are any normal ones, why take a chance that they might not make it in the lab vs in utero even though it is a guessing game at that point.
I am not sure whether to hang it up and accept DE as my option or if there is still hope with hope abnormal my eggs looked.

I'm not sure about the irregular shaped eggs, but I have a friend who was told her eggs were dark eggs. She now has 9 month old twin girls from those eggs. There is hope. I'm sorry you are discouraged. Huge hugs

IVF# 7: (OE/DS) 1R, 1M, 1F, arrested day 5
Plan-DE IVF# 2 (cycle #8): DE/DS in May 2015
