I have no clue what kind of diapers are the best. One of my friends says that pampers swaddlers are great for newborns, but my mom said they suck. What kind are you going with? I could definitely use some tips!

We are doing cloth :-) We'll interchange some disposables in there sometimes as well. I plan on buying whatever's onsale/cheapest or just using up any we happen to get as gifts...

It really depends on your kid. All kids are shaped different and different diapers work better for different body types. We used Nature's Babycare exclusively in our house, but my parents buy Luvs in bulk and both are fine.

I used luvs with my daughter but that was 15 years ago... I'm going to try them again... What the heck. Pampers are twice as expensive. Now I know cheep is expensive but I have to believe they are not total crap... I'm going to go for it..

We used pampers swaddlers for a while. Now we use Luvs. Huggies gave DD a rash and the Target brand always seemed to smell like pee a lot more noticeably and seemed to leak a lot.

we're going to do cloth mostly, but we'll use disposables sometimes, too. The planner in me wants to pick diapers in advance so I can start stockpiling them, but I know that it's better to wait because we'll need to find what works best for baby.

LOVED Pampers with my daughter but they didn't work for my son. He did very well in Huggies. As for store brands the only one I liked was Target. The others felt very cheap and scratchy. I also didn't like the plasticy feel of Luvs

Pampers swaddlers here.. The only thing I liked about huggies NB was the belly button groove so I didnt feel like I hurt her ambilical chord.. for store brands I like the walmarts parents choice. I find they work well and the price cant be beat!

We use cloth but before we did we only used Pampers Swaddlers. They are what the hospital gave us and I think they are much softer than other disposable diapers.
