Success after IF

Extreme Parenting

DH was supposed to watch J while I was at the dentist, but he bailed on me for a meeting. I called and asked if I could bring J to my appointment. They said yes.

So J starts fussing as the hygienist is about to start (of course), so I whipped out the boob in the dentist's chair and calmed her down. She proceeded to sit on me and watch the entire cleaning only dispensing drool and pleasant commentary (about 45m). Luckily, my hygienist is a mom with two kids. She said I wasn't the first to breastfeed in her chair!

I think this extreme parenting badge will go right next to the "breastfeeding sitting on the toilet at a restaurant" one.

Anyone else have an extreme parenting story to share?

  • That is awesome! Way to go and I am so glad your dentist and hygienist were so accommodating.

The most extreme I have gotten was trying to feed DS while I was on the toilet but even that was at home!
