A TMI question about poo

Jack has been really moody lately, crying a lot, etc., and the last two days he's only pooed once, but it's been mustard yellow (like newborn poo) and kinda like pudding.

Has anyone else experienced this? Fortunately we have his 18 month well visit tomorrow morning, but I'm a bit concerned. Could that be linked to teething? He cries so hard, but i don't know if it's his teeth or his tummy. He does have his fingers in his mouth a bit, but we took the paci away a few weeks ago so it's hard to tell. 

Unfortunately, although it looks like newborn poo it still smells like toddler poo. Ick!

    When ever my kids are teething, they have loose stools and smells really acidy.

    Yes, B gets poops like this when she's teething and they cause a terrible, painful rash. I'll lather her bum in vaseline and butt paste before she goes to bed, and the rash will be gone in the morning. But after she has a few of those nasty poos it comes

    C's poo is definitely smushier when he is teething but it is still normal color.

    Hm? one of my girlfriends was just telling me while teething her son has stools just as J. Is he still on any medication for his surgery? What does his diet look like?

    Eek. J had poop like that. He was teething and had the norovirus. I hope it's just teeth for your J
