Mexican Cheese

All I've been wanting is that glorious cheese dip from the local Mexican restaurants but I'm afraid to eat it if I'm not 100 are it's pasteurized. I've read where most are due to health standards they have to meet but still don't wanna chance it. Anyone have any info on this? I know not my restaurant but if Mexaican restaurants use pasteurized cheeses or not... In general???

  • Last time I went out for Mexican I asked and the waiter was knowledgeable enough to know that it was pasteurized.  So just ask.
