Stopping breastfeeding???

For many reasons I have stopped breastfeeding and pumping and switched my LO over to formula. Me and LO both seem to be happier! I am looking for advice...how long does the discomfort with full/sore breasts last? Do I just stop pumping and the milk will just go away?? Any tips and suggestions would be much appreciated!! TIA!!

I just went through this myself and although I don't know if it's the correct way to do it but I weaned myself off. I started nursing him 1 less feeding on both breasts per day and giving him formula instead until I was only nursing at night for a couple

I stopped cold turkey mainly because I was producing too little for my lo. I would at least hand express while in the shower to help relieve some pain. I took ib profit and by day 2 it wasn't as bad. Now at day 5 there is discomfort still but I'm praying

I plan on doing it slowly by taking out feedings. I went a little while without pumping last night and my boobs are rock hard!!

Take sudafed. It will help dry you up.
