Ok, so I just got an amazing slow rpm juicer and I am going to start juicing ALL the things.
I got into a conversation with my sister about it and she was all "make sure you use organic or it defeats the purpose."
It got me thinking and I researched it a bit. In all honesty, it seems that people do say that organic > non organic, but it seems that people are leaning more towards local > organic, because the rules about organic foods are different across the board.
Personally, I don't really use much organic stuff because I think it's kind of BS. Same with free range eggs and what not. We do subscribe to a local produce share that is supplemented with organic produce when things aren't in season, but mostly I just DGAF.
What do you all do?
Re: Organic food
"I stammered, unable to form a coherent thought because I have a vagina."
Do you think you'll switch once you have the kid?
And I read a big article on Free Range Eggs and it was like "Yeah, they aren't stuck in cages, but they are packed so tightly into the free range area, that they can't really move...defeating the whole purpose of free range."
I wish I could have
And a lot of the articles say that eating fruit in general is better than stressing out over whether or not it's organic.
I think I'm just going to stick with what I've been doing.
Unable to even.
