Any LOs with ear tubes?

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

LO is on ear infection #5 for the season, and we've been referred to an ENT.  The ENT recommended tubes, but also a hearing test as well because LO has so much fluid built up in her ears.

 

Just wondering how your LO dealt with the procedure and recovery.

    My son had tubes put in at 6 months. That was after 10 ear infections in a 3 month period. Procedure takes less than 15 minutes. They come back screaming a lot but calm down once they have mom or dad back. Spent all day at home with him in the recliner an

    DS got tubes exactly 2 weeks ago at 11 months.  He had fluid in his ears since Nov (either clear of infected) and had 4 ear infections.  We went to the ENT and he suggested tubes.  He said since it's the end of
