12+ months & hair loss . . . again!

When DD was first born and I began BF'ing and had the typical hair loss that I know many others deal with. My excessive hair loss stopped about 4 months pp. Now here I am, 12 months pp, still nursing 4-5 times a day. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I began noticing more hair than normal in my shower drain. Is this normal for my hair to start falling out again just from hormonal changes and BF'ing? I don't feel like too much has changed in terms of the amount she nurses. I got my period back at 9 months pp so it doesn't seem to coincide with that. What gives?

I'd get your thyroid checked. It doesn't have to have anything to do with nursing to be a sign your hormones are off.

Hair loss is very common in women with PCOS. Did they check your hormone levels including Testosterone?
