I've been wanting to post these last few days about our potty training experience. mostly because i felt like it was getting nowhere! We tried for 2 days and he didn't make it to the potty once! By the middle of the second day tho, he was at least telling me about a second before or as he needed to go (as opposed to day 1 telling me he went and needed new clothes) We planned to continue thru the weekend but it just didn't happen so he was in diapers but I decided to give it a shot again today. He had one accident this morning but otherwise has told me on his own and gone #1 & #2 in the potty since! Now, it's been just over half a day and I'm totally expecting it to still take longer but I just wanted to say how proud I am of my little man! I was sooo close to giving up but I'm really glad I didn't. I canceled our outing for tomorrow so now we have no plans until Friday afternoon so I can dedicate this week to helping him.
I know potty training is such an individual experience but I was really hoping to have him at least day trained before baby comes in June and I'm hoping he continues to do well!
Re: Yayy! -Potty Training Related
Yay! That's awesome.
We are waiting until we move into our new house at the end of May. Hopefully he'll be ready by then.
That's awesome to hear!
I bet this is how it's going for us. DS is pretty stubborn and takes a while to warm up to new experiences.
But I know he has signs of readiness and we read potty books and talk about it a lot and he even sits on it

Thats great! Keep up the great work!
I have some questions though cause we just started PT and I already want to give up lol.
So is LO naked waist down? Or in undies? Pull ups?
In the beginning were you putting LO on
demom- thank you thank you thank you for writing out exactly what you did! I know its different for every kid but it really does help.
Thats the thing with G. We just started PT last Fri and I've been putting him on the potty e
