So how easy/hard was it to get pregnant with your babies? The first time for me was very easy. I know everyone is different, but I still worry about how easy/hard it's going to be the 2nd time around. What has your experience been?
With number 1 we got pregnant the second month of trying, with number 2 we were 'just seeing what happens' and got pregnant the first month. I would say both times it was easy but I know it can vary.
Second try with DD and first try with DS. I thought it would take a little while so we started a little early. Now they are 19 months instead of 2 years apart. Oh well.
I had issues the first time took us almost 2 years. The second time took us about 5 months, but without all the infertility stuff I did the first time.
I was charting both times, so I know our timing was good. Took 7 months with our first and 4 months with our second. It was quicker the second time despite the fact that I was still BFing.
We got pregnant the 2nd month with DC1 and the 6th month with DC2. If you got pregnant without issues the first time, the second time should be fine too but keep in mind healthy couples can still take a year or longer. I know people who tried for years with #1 then got pregnant quickly with #2. It's mostly luck IMO. Best wishes!
me too, except I had a miscarriage before DD, so it added a few months on from when were able to try. I don't chart but I noticed after my period returned pp (which took 11 months since I was breastfeeding) it was way more predictable than it was before.
Our second pregnancy was a complete shock, but we hadn't prevented since our son was born. We lost this baby.
Our 3rd pregnancy took 4 months.
It took 3 1/2 long years, but we finally got our little miracle!
IVF #1 - BFP (6dt)
Unassisted Pregnancy #2 - lost at 15w6d due to T21, severe heart defects, and fetal hydrops
Took almost a year with #1. For #2, we weren't trying, but we weren't preventing anything. Got PG within 2 months. I think part of it took so long with #1 because of the stress of trying to get PG. I wasn't focused on worrying about getting PG the second time around. GL
I am currently pregnant with my hopeful #2 and it took us one cycle of trying. I was shocked b/c it took us months with DS. I kind of still am in shock actually.
#2 got bfp two weeks after deciding to use pull and pray for birth control. Lol.
we tried for a third for five months but then put off ttc.
It's really hard to gauge how your experience will be based on others. Plenty of people get pregnant easily the first (or even second or third) then develop infertility. My grandmother had six kids but wanted eight-but never got pregnant after the sixth even though she was still young and healthy. Some people go through ivf to conceive then get a surprise bfp for their second while using protection. Fertility is a really odd, unpredictable thing.

My first time took 4 months and the second time took 1 month...
I guess I should be religious about taking my birth control after this second one or I might be pregnant after one day or one week LOL
DD 12.2010
took 2 weeks to get pregnant with #1, 4 months with #2, and 2 weeks again with #3.

#1 took about a year and a half with 2m/c's
#2 was the first month not preventing
We were very shocked that #2 happened so quickly!
