Intro

I've been lurking here for a few weeks.  Trying to decide if I belong here.  My son, our first, was born at 27 weeks.  He was born in March of last year, but he wasn't due until June.  Most of the milestones that your little ones are hitting, we won't see for another 3 months.  Little man refuses to crawl on his hands and knees.  He's an army crawler.  Anyone else experience this?  Did yours ever crawl? Or just move on to walking?

  • Thanks for the welcome.  I've spent a lot of time on the Preemie board, but I'm so anxious for him to "catch up" and sometime the stories on that board give me horrible flashbacks of our traumatic birth and NICU experiences... :(

    Haven't had personal experience, but my girlfriend's son, who incidentally was born 6 weeks early, is also an army crawler. No concerns there!
  • Welcome! Dd never army crawled. A friend's DS went straight from army crawling to walking. They all do it in their own way!
