DS Is 16 weeks this week. I am a first time Mom, and try to do everything by the books. However, both my Mom and my husband are pressuring me to give DS some cereal in a bottle of breastmilk, at least at nighttime (he just never seems very satisfied). I would like to try it, just to see if it makes him more content, but am scared because of all the reasons not to give it to those under 6 months that I've read... I just know that things used to be so different and people gave cereal VERY young, but now there are just so many restrictions. What is your take??

My LO's pediatrician recommended starting cereal at 4 months because breastmilk dosn't contain enough iron. I have never heard of that before, but I plan on starting it when I feel she is ready. I will be using the small spoons to get her used to
