I had a csec. With dd1 it was a disaster. She ended up going to my parents one night, my sil the next ( disaster) and staying home w/ mil the next ( she lives with us but that is NOT happening again.) Mike stayed in the hospital with me.
This time I want the girls to stay with my mom the entire time, or have Mike stay home with them.
What are your plans?
Re: STM-where are your kids staying?
My MIL and FIL will probably take care of DS, but he'll sleep here at home. I sent DH home last time to sleep, as our hospital has pretty atrocious accommodations for partners (it's just a mat on the floor of the room, and I had a shared room).

It is possible my mil will arrive before baby girl does. In that case, she will stay with the kiddos at night and my mom will visit them during the day.

I have no flipping clue. We are moving in late June, but don't know where yet. We have a few friends that we trust here, but DD's grandparents all live 4+ hours away. DH's aunt lives kind-of close by, but she is far from my first choice.
We may
My parents and in-laws with each take a day and a half but the kids will stay at our house so they have the comforts of home. I trust both sets but it's nice to have them at our house so they have some "normalcy". Our hospital re-did their maternity fl
DD will stay at home my home with my dad, my aunt and my brother interchanging. DH will be at the hospital sometimes, but home sometimes so that DD's life stays somewhat normal while I'm gone.
That said, I am going to miss the crap out of my DD
My kids will be staying with my Mom and Stepdad. Our hospital is about 35 mintues from our house, add on 20 more minutes to get to Mom's house. They will bring them once a day to visit while we are there. H will stay with me.
We did this last
Well the plan is for hubby to stay home at night with them. The baby will be coming right around when the kids go back to school so I do not want to mess up their routine.
If that fails- my dad and step mom live like 2 miles from me
My kids go to daycare and I have typically had my babies in the middle of the night during the week.
Our very good friend whose kids went to the same daycare ours go to now (she is also godmother to our youngest) comes over if it happens in the m

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
DS will most likely stay with my parents. In a perfect world, we will call my mom when I'm in labor and she'll come pick up DS and bring him to her house (unless it's the middle of the night, and I'm guessing she'd just stay at our house until th
Totally depends on when this kiddo plans on making an appearance.
DD was born at 7:50pm and DH didn't want to leave that first night. If this LO's timing is the same DD will stay either with my sister or my parent's for that first night onl

My Son will either be staying with SIL or my grandma (His great grandma) We don't know yet.... but more likely that he'll stay with SIL since she's only 3 mins away from us. However the hospital is 45 mins away from us and my grandma only lives 10 mins
