Pumping and BF newborn

Hi all! My first time posting here! I am now a SAHM but just left a career as a first grade teacher.

i was hospitalized with post partum pre-E last week. I started out BFing baby very easily, we've had A great experience. Unfortunately the meds I was on in the hospital made me lose total muscle control so I had to pump for a day and bottle feed LO.

now that I am home I'm BFing but would also like to build a mini stash for DH while LO still remembers how to bottle feed and continue to pump. But how do I do both? I've heard pump once a day, but when? Also, I'm not getting much, maybe 1/2 oz where as in the hospital I was producing over 3oz because I was skipping feedings. Any tips/advice helps! TIA!

For a small stash, I'd pump once a day after your first morning feed. Your prolactin levels are higher in the morning, so your supply is higher in the morning. It doesn't sound like you need to increase your supply, so I wouldn't pump more tha
