Growth Hormone Deficiency

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the correct place to be posting or not and I can't search for topics on my phone so please forgive if this has been disgusted recently.
My little guy B was/is an IUGR baby and has struggled with his growth ever since birth. He is 11 months old now and only weighs 15 pounds. He was diagnosed/labeled as failure to thrive a few months back. Our doctor has sent us for every test possible and about a month ago, we found out some answers. It's not confirmed yet as we still have to go to an Endocrinologist. His growth hormone levels are low which could mean a growth hormone deficiency. I don't know what to expect. I have read something about daily injections which scares me so much. I just wish My little guy would grow. Has anyone been through anything similar? Thanks :

Thank you. It's good to hear that the injections aren't as bad as I'm thinking. We still have over a month until we see the Endo, so hopefully I will be able to find out some more info before we go.
