 My son is a very large baby. 25" and 20 lbs. He's almost out grown his infant carseat rated for 29" and 22 lbs. I am looking for suggestions on convertible carseats for larger kids that won't break the bank so I don't go threw this again in 2 years when he out grows the next one that was supposed to last him for much longer any moms of two with a suggestion?

    I went through this with my first son. He outgrew his infant carseat by 5 months due to height.

    We went with a First Years Tru Fit. Great because it has one of the longest height requirements, yet the headrest is removable so rear facing it does

    Sounds like your ds will be tall so you might want to look into the radian rxt.  We bought a britax boulevard and dd outgrew it quickly so we had to buy a britax frontier as soon as she turned 2.
