Our first u/s wasn't great. We only saw a sac and yolk sac measuring 4w5d, and no fetal pole. That would be fine, if I were only about 5w, but I got my BFP almost three weeks ago. I really should be at least 6w. There's a sliver of hope, based on a lot of "ifs," which are detailed below for the curious, but I'm already giving up emotionally. We go back in two weeks, at which point there will either be a heartbeat, or it will be over.
If 1: I ovulated later than FF thinks, which is already two days later than I thought. I do have to mention that my OPKs at 1 and 2DPO were borderline, so much so that I played with them on FF for days; I only left them on negative because my huge spike at CD15/16 led me to believe I had already ovulated.
ETA: This "if" is going down the drain. DH's sperm would've had to hold strong for five days if Oed on CD21.
If 2: I got a crazy early BFP at 5DPO. Again possible although unusual, especially since my beta was only 10 that day.
If 3: Today's sac measurements were a tiny bit off, and I'm somewhere just over 5w. This is the easiest "if" for me to believe, since measurements are so small at this point, and a tiny difference is a big gestational difference.
ETA: I know I didn't write this well, but these are if/ands; they ALL have to be true for this baby to have a chance.

I'm sorry. I think u/s can be off at times and you could've O'd late. I hope you get some reassurance soon! Hugs!

This time I'm not leaving without you.
I am in a similar situation. I went into my u/s expecting to be 8w2d based off of O and measured 6w5d instead.
Based on their measurements, DH would have also had sperm live for 5 days and I would have gotten my bfp at essentially 3dpo.

When I had my first u/s at 7 weeks, they said DD's due date was Dec 26th. The next couple of u/s's moved her date up to the 21st/22nd. I O'd very late in my cycle and who knows.
