My LO was born April 2nd. BF is going well so far. She lost some weight in the hospital but was back to her birth weight within a week. Some questions I have:
1) For the recommended 8-12 feedings a day, how do you count a feed? For example, the past week or so, LO will eat for 7-9 minutes. Within an hour (usually), she want to eat another 4-7 minutes. Would you consider them 2 separate ones or just 1 with a long break?
2) I've been pumping at least once in the AM and maybe every other day in the afternoon/evening for about the last week since LO is cluster feeding and I feel she's not emptying my breasts and I'm uncomfortable. LO is watched one day a week by family and gets a bottle (or 2 or 3). How much milk do I need to send? When I pump, I get anywhere from 2-3 oz total. I haven't found info on how much expressed BM LO needs at this point.
3) After LO has her overnight feedings, she sounds a little wheezy and gurgley. I have a fast let down and she did spit up in the beginning so I stop half way through and burp her and keep her upright for 10-20 minutes after feeding. She doesn't show other signs of distress, just the noises freak me and DH out and we can't sleep. Any advice or other tips? Or is this just a phase and as she gets older it will go away?
Sorry this is long and TIA!

I would think that if she is feeding hourly, even 5-10min then don`t worry about counting as you will be well over the 12 feeds (don`t stop her at 12 feeds that's a minimum). If she only does this once or twice a day then just make sure she is fe
