Hi
I was just curious about how far you guys travel to work. We are TTC/family planning and in the process of selling our house to move somewhat closer to my job. I'm a school counselor and I drive an hour each way to my job. My DH works five minutes from home. With hopefully starting a family soon does a 45 minute commute seem high? All the areas we would like to move to are about 45 minutes away and anything closer would involve farm duties. I was just curious what work plans you guys have for after baby.

We are very fortunate that H commutes ~20 mins (depending on traffic) to work and I have to travel all 15 feet to get to my home office
This is a perk I doubt I'll have forever so I'm enjoying it while I can! <span style="font-size:10pt;

This is a small town and in order to have a job that can actually pay the bills, you have to drive for it.
I split my time between two offices. One is 25 minutes away, the other is 50 minutes away. For me it doesn't seem to be the distance that kills me but how much traffic. The 25 minute commute is way more nerve wracking than the 50 minute country road dr

All Welcome1 hour is typical here in Houston. I used to have a 30 miles commute that took an hour or more. I traded that in for a 7-miles 15-30 minute, depending on traffic. It's much less stress and wear and tear on the vehicle
I have a 20 minute commute which can turn into an hour if I leave work at the wrong time. DH works from home (ha!), but travels extensively - he typically drives 1,000 miles or more each week to go to different job sites in SC, NC, GA and TN, and
April 2013: Femara + Trigger + IUI = ???
We bought a house deep in the suburbs and now my commute is 1h20 min both ways. However, this includes a 10 min drive and a 45 min bus ride. (plus walking and waiting).
My S/O works 7 minutes away from home. As long as one parent is close to day

We both have a 5 minute commute with maybe 2 stop signs on the way. It's pretty quick. When we bought this home the location played a hugh role.

I have about a 45 minute commute and no plans to move closer to the office. DH also has a 45 minute commute in the other direction so if we move closer to my work, it will add to his commute and vice versa.

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
I'm about 25-30 minutes (when I walk), or 10-15 if I bike or take the subway. DH is more like 45-50 minutes on subway.
The plan is to stay where we are and use childcare close to home (and my work).
