Birth Control - what is everyone doing?

My pp appt is coming up and I'm starting to think about my options. I reeeeally don't want to get back on the pill, realized once I came off how much happier of a person I am without it (and I was on a VERY mild one). My mood, sex drive, and overall quality of life have increased dramatically since I stopped taking it, about 2.5 years ago. We did condoms for a while but would rather avoid them.

Nuva ring is essentially like the pill, heard bad things about the shot, and so considering IUD - any opinions?

Mini pill for me since I'm bf'ing. We'll see after that. Ideally we will decide we're definitely done having kids and I'll convince DH to get a V. If that doesn't happen, I'll probably try the nuva ring.

I will be getting Mirena again. I loved it when I got it after DD and had zero problems.

Just got a prescription for mirena (IUD), but dr doesn't want to put it in for another month or two. Using condoms in meantime.

I had to be put back on the pill at my 6 week appointment for at least a month to actually stop my bleeding because it was heavy and being caused/made worse by some retained placental tissue! I'm considering getting an IUD though, my OBGYN recommend we go
