booster seat

What is the best booster seat, my daughter is 3 and under 40lbs.

We would like to switch her into a booster soon, and obviously get a seat that will last for years.

Re: booster seat

  • Unless your child is outgrowing their convertible its not safe to make that switch until over four.

with that being said the Britax frontier is a popular choice. We are gong for the secure kid by evenflo

  • 4 years and 40lbs is the minimum for a booster with the seat belt. If you want a seat that will last years, look into a harnessed booster like the Graco Nautilus (we have it an love it) or a Britax Frontier. These will harness to 65lbs, then convert to a

  • I would NOT put a 3 year old in a booster seat unless it was a 3-in-1 type seat and you were planning on using it in the harness mode. Most recommend waiting until AT LEAST 4 years and 40lbs before putting your child in a belt positioning booster, and

  • I would get a harnessed booster like a Nautilus. You have to use the harness till at least 4. The Nautilus converts from a harnessed booster to a high back booster to a backless booster so it can be used until she is out of a seat altogether.
