STM- Dialation?

I know this has been discussed alot on this board, but I can't seem to find one that is in reference to my question.
So my question is, STMs
1. did you dialate earlier then with your first?
2. did dialation have any correspondence with labor this time around?
For example, with DS I didn't dialate until week 37 at which I was 1cm. I delivered at exactly week 38 (1 week from my last internal).
With this LO I am 35 weeks and dialated to 1.5.
I know it's been discussed that dialation rarley means anything until labor is active, but I was just curious if anyone had dialated earlier with the seconds and if labor followed the same pattern it did the first time.

I dilated on my own to half a finger tip with DS at 41.5 weeks.
With DD (now), I was closed shut at my 36 week appointment, not effaced. So we will see what is happening this week on Thursday. I doubt anything, not much has been going on.
1. I was dilated to 1 cm at the last dr appt before my water broke with #1. Now, I'm dilated to 2 cm for the last two weeks (I'm 38w today and go to the dr tomorrow). I was also about 50% effaced.

With DS1 I dilated to 2 cm at 38 weeks, then 3cm at 39 and I went into labor the next day.
With DS2 I went into PTL at 31 weeks and was dilated to 1cm. I stayed there until 36 weeks when I dilated to 2 cm. I found out today I am 3 cm now an

With my first, I don't think I started to dialate until after my water broke at 37 weeks. DD#1 was born at 37w1d.
With DD#2, I had started to dialate at 37 weeks, but DD#2 wasn't born until 40w3d.
This time, I was 2-3cm at 37 week
1. did you dilate earlier then with your first? I did dilate earlier with DS about 32 weeks i was already at 1cm. but stayed there till about 38/39 weeks then when i was induced at 41.5 weeks i was only 2.5cm.

Thank you all for the information. It's always interesting to see other peoples experiences and how many of them are similar/different. I know time is the only thing I can count on at this point, but I guess asking questions makes the time go by a litt
