This is the first time I have outed myself on fb but with it being niaw I figured it was for a good cause. Here is my post.
This week is national infertility awareness week and I wanted to share a poem I found a while back. Infertility is found in 1 of every 8 couples. So be kind with your words you never about people's secret troubles.

I promise not to give you unsolicited advice about conceiving. I know you are relaxing. That stress isnt the problem and a vacation isnt the answer. Im also very aware that how it finally worked for me or my cousin or my neighbor or my grandmas friends greatniece probably isnt the cure for you. Ill never assume I have the answer to your prayersI promise.

I promise not to complain about my kids in front of you. We all know that raising children is challenging. Im also aware youd give your left arm to be knee deep in messy diapers and snotty noses. Therell be no childrelated venting to youI promise.

I promise to include you in our family related activities and understand when you decline. I know you love my family. I also understand being around little ones can be hard for you right now. Ill be sad that youre not there, so Ill continue to pray fervently for your miracleI promise.

Most importantly, I promise to be here when you need me. Ill listen empathetically and squeeze your hand for encouragement. Lean on me when you need tomy shoulders will hold you up and my love for you will catch your tears. Ill walk through this with you, admiring your bravery every step of the wayI promise.
