Baby Shower Dates

Hi Ladies,
My mom and best friend are planning my baby shower for June and I will be 31 weeks. I realize this is a little early, but I would rather have more time to go buy the things we don't receive and actually enjoy my shower. I don't want to be too huge and swollen. What week are you having your shower? Are you aware of any upsides I'm not about waiting till later?
