WWS12 do?

I want to go visit my friend and her kids at her vacation home in Colorado this summer. It will be me and my two girls traveling by myself. I have 2 options for getting there. The cost for both options is virtually the same. I can fly direct into Denver and rent a car and drive 2 hours to get to her house. Option 2, I can take a connecting flight and my friend would be able to pick us up at the closer airport. With option 2, I would only need to bring DD2's car seat. She would have a car seat for DD1. I worry about making a close connection and my luggage making it, or I could do a long connection.. but that adds so much extra travel time with a baby and a toddler. I feel like I would have a little more control with the direct flight, but getting 2 car seats around by myself at the airport seems a little daunting to me too.

  • I would take the connecting flight with the shorter gap. Worst case, you miss the flight and can either get on the next one or rent a car with a carseat.

  • I would take the direct flight & rent the second seat from the car rental company.
