Another annoyance

I posted on FB asking people to recommend their home insurer. Got a bunch of replies, including one person who wrote this super long paragraph telling me how I really need to shop around, and how just because someone got their best price with one place doesn't mean I will as well, etc.

I really just want to write back "Duh - Why the heck do you think I'm asking for recommendations in the first place" but I think I'll just write nothing.

    Was it from a random friend who never responds to your other posts? I always get responses like that from the moms of people I grew up with back home who never otherwise comment on anything. It makes me want to never ask for advice on FB.
