PSA *** safety 1st onboard 35 car seat

Hi ladies,

I have been searching for infant car seats for a while now and after reading reviews I decided to go with the Safety 1st onboard 35 car seat O2. I just went in to the safety 1st website to compare the O2 versus the silverleaf models since the O2 is more expensive but not only I found out they are the same car seat and the main difference is that the O2 has fancier fabric designs but I found the silverleaf color for $75.99 with free shipping !!!!! The regular price on that car seat is $169.99 and it is listed as a hot deal on the website....

We have the the AIR convertible car seat for my DD and we could not be happier so that is why I decided to look for their infant car seats instead of GRACO this time around.

Just wanted to share in case someone else is looking to buy this car seat.

  • Just make sure if you get an extra base you get the Premium base (that fits the onBoard  35 Air & Maxi Cosi 35).  Otherwise it won't work right.

  • Awesome ! Thanks for the tips !!!
  • We bought the OnBoard Air 35 for DD3. Love the seat. It seems really comfortable, and it's not too heavy to carry around. We bought the regular base on sale for $27, and it fits fine. The elite base was $80, so I couldn't justify that.

  • I will look into the information for the base since we will need a couple of extra ones for DH truck and daycare.... Have you trued without the base? I was reading that it should be simple but I don't know...
