How did hairdressers get to be someone you're supposed to tip? To me, that seems like it should be something where the hairdresser sets their price, and you pay them that price. I just don't see how this got to be a tip-able job. I compare it to like, ordering a cake. You tell them what cake you want, they tell you the price, and then you pay them that price. I don't see it as being on the same level as a waitress who does not get a say in the price of your food.
Sorry, hairdressers...JMO.

I don't think the hourly wage for a hairdresser is that much.
And if they own the place, technically you don't have to tip. But I do anyways.
