Avatar issues

I don't want my facebook photo being automatically used for my avatar.  I've changed my avatar settings to a stock photo, saved the settings, deleted the link to facebook, etc.. and my photo is STILL showing up.  Makes no sense at all.

 

When I look at my account it shows the correct photo for my avatar, but my facebook photo is still showing up in postings.  *weird*
