S/O on Thank You Cards?

Do you still send a snail mail card if you have thanked the person in a text or via email?

Once LO opens the gift, I usually take a picture of and send a thank you text/email. Would you also send a card in the mail?

I send thank you cards to older relatives, people who weren't there to be thanked in person, and to anyone that gave him a gift or attended his birthday party, regardless of whether or not I thanked them in person.

I only count thank you's if they're snail mail or hand delivered. Guess I'm old fashioned that way. So yes, I'd send a card in the mail.

If someone went through the trouble of picking out and mailing a gift to DD I go through the trouble of writing and mailing a TY back.

If I thanked the person - in person - I do not send a thank you note. Otherwise I do send a thank you.

Absolutely they get a mailed thank you card. As another person said unless it is mailed it doesn't count. We are losing so many of our social graces in this technological age and it makes me sad.
