night bottle

At my sons 9 month check up I told the Dr. He was still taking a bottle at 5 am and I didn't want to start a bad habit. But nothing calmed him down. The Dr. Told me its BC of him being so active. Just wondering if anyone else went through this BC his birthday is tomorrow and he is still doing this

    Both of my girls nursed through the night until they were 14 months.  I know several people whose kids took a bottle during the night until they were 18 months or so.  I'm surprised your pedi told you that - I tend to think at that age, it is

    Mine was a good sleeper from day one but she woke up once a night for a bottle for a long time. Sometimes it was 5am. Sometimes it was 2:30. Just depended. I always gave in. She was always hungry, I knew what she wanted so I gave in so we were all back

    If you want to break the habit or find out if he's actually hungry then, try letting him CIO or rock back to sleep for a week or so. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out if he's actually hungry.
