After 9 months of being on the market, we sold our house yesterday! I am so freakin glad. But at the same time I'm a bundle of all kinds of emotions. It's sort of hitting me that we will be leaving our first home and this area that we really like and have been here for the last 9 years.
We have less than a month to get out! So I have to put in my notice at work and get packing. I'm so excited to move closer to our family and friends but so much other stuff is uncertain. We are back to debating whether or not I can afford to SAH. It would be REALLY tight. But I don't want to work in social work anymore and it feels impossible to find a job doing something different right now. I so want to SAH.
Anyways that's the scoop! At least we are moving forward and hopefully we will figure the rest out soon.

Good luck with the packing/move. We move next week but have only been at our condo for 5.5 years. You never believe how much crap one can accumulate in such a short period of time !
