I know that this has been discussed a few times before, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with leaving their toddler for a few days? My husband is graduating law school next month and baby #2 is on the way, so we're taking a 4 night cruise to celebrate. My mom will be coming here to stay with our son, who will be 17 months.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for making the separation easier on all of us? This is my first time leaving him overnight and I'm a SAHM so we're used to being with each other pretty much all day. Any advice or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated!

I left grandma a general guideline of routine/likes/dislikes and let her go from there. LO liked somewhat of a normal structure but the differ

I've traveled w/o DD about a dozen times since she was 7 weeks old, including three week long vacations with just DH. A few days is not a big deal. You will miss LO, but it will be much harder on you han him.
Just know that you
