I was looking around to order my own mothers day gift. lol. I want a personalized necklace w/ LO's info on it. I realized that LO's birthstone is the green peridot. Im a lil bummed, I think its the ugliest of all the birthstones

I agree. I remember when I found out I was due mid August I knew I was stuck with peridot and was sad about it. I am April= diamond, and DH september= sapphire which are very pretty together. I never even think to look at things with DDs birthstone.

At first I hated the color of peridot. Surprisingly though, it looks really nice against DD's skintone, and so now I like it.

...I actually really like peridot. My DH got me a gorgeous peridot and diamond necklace on a gold chain when I was in the hospital after having DD and I think it's beautiful. Mine is Opal and DH's is ruby so the green, red, and whitish/pink go really well

Awww, its not my favorite but I think peridot is pretty. Mine is aquamarine (my least favorite) and DH's is a diamond so I think the three will look nice together.
