obgyn for active people in denver?

I am not pregnant yet, but am considering how to choose an obgyn.  I do a lot of biking, both commuting and and road biking, and want to make sure to find a dr who is supportive of this kind of exercise during pregnancy.  Does anyone have any denver recommendations?

  • If you wanted to head down to Skyridge, I love Dr Elise Chu, and I know she ran through her pregnancy. That being said, Ridgegate OBGYN as a practice is a little extra conservative in my opinion. But, better safe than sorry.

  • I'm due in three weeks and still working out.  My OB has no problem with me doing what I did before.  I go to Avista Women's Care in Louisville.  I cycled and ran pre pregnancy.  My OB and fertility Dr. advised me to stop cycling only

  • I have loved my obgyn office in Wheat Ridge. Associates in Women's Health. They are very supportive of what kind of experience you want to have.

  • Usually, if you have been doing a particular activity prior to becoming pg. there is no problem continuing unless/until you run into being uncomfortable and/or complications.  I don't know an OB that would NOT encourage you to exercise.
