After reading the Big kid rooms post, I'm curious if anyone is planning the 2nd birthday party yet? I've gotten as far as asking H for ideas, which he has none.
Whatcha got?

It will be truck themed for sure! I'm not going overboard this year since Max's birthday is the day before my due date. I'll probably have a nice cake made and do very simple decorations.
Well.. We can only go home once and will go in October, so it'll be a "joint" party. I'm thinking I'm going the Lego route. I can do primary colors, red green blue and yellow and maybe throw in pink and purple for Olivia. So it'll mostly be for Austin'
Poor L will not be getting a big bash this year. Baby 2 is due 9 days before her birthday so I don't want to plan something big and risk us being in L&D. We will probably do a small get together with the grandparents and aunts/uncles/cousins. Cue momm
The 1st Bday was such a huge event, we are only going to do it for milestone Bdays. So this year we are going to a nice pizza place on the river and renting the outdoor covered area. They have great food and an indoor carousel. She's obs

Honestly we are probably just going going to have all our family over for dinner. We will do cake ice cream and presents, but no big thing. It will stay that way until shes old enough for friends parties

Either a doggie party or Goodnight Moon! Bo fixates on the page with the kittens and mittens; the theme of red balloons, house, mouse, stars would be so fun to decorate with!
We did a baseball theme last year. This year I'm thinking maybe a Cookie Monster theme. Lots of cookies and milk and a bouncy house. We may even do it at a party place full of bounce houses, he loves it there!

Hmmm I've been thinking maybe two two trains. But now I'm not so sure. He loooves Elmo and cookie, but my sister just had an Elmo party for my niece. His other interests are balls, animals, loves puppies, babies. Maybe a zoo theme? Or maybe I'll stick wit
Right now we're thinking Bubbles and Balls or something like that. I'd really like more of a concrete "theme" with something he's into - Hungry Caterpillar, Elmo, something like that. But it won't be a huge party like his first, so who knows.&

I said last year that I wanted to do a big bash for the 1st bday and keep it just immediate family beyond that (plus parties with friends when they are older) but DH doesn't exactly agree. We'll see when the time gets closer. We'd be looking at about 10
