XP: Breastfeeding and sex (FTM ?)

This was already posted in the breastfeeding forum, but maybe you ladies have had the same issue:

So I have my 6 week postpartum exam tomorrow. DH and I have yet to go back to having sex, mostly because until a week ago I wasn't sure if my stitches were entirely gone. Anyway, I am both nursing and pumping (I go back to work in 10 days) and am curious how do I not leak during sex? Or am I destined to wear a bra with nursing pads until I wean DD? Anyone have any suggestions or experiences they are willing to share? I really don't want to tramatize DH! LOL

    Try lily padz. I bought mine at buy but baby. They stop all leaks and are waterproof for swimming too. I love them!

    I've leaked on DH a few times, but he doesn't care. He knew it was bound to happen. Plus he's just happy to have sex again. Lol.

    I'm in a similar position ... I'm wondering if it would matter when you have sex in relation to breastfeeding would help with leaking. Like if you have sex soon after a feeding maybe your chances of leaking would decrease. Just a thought! Good luck!
