Car Seat Mess

Hi,

So I try not to give LO food in the car, but sometimes it happens. Recently, my car is a MESS. Has anyone used those mats that go under/behind the seat? Do they void the warranty like the BundleMe does? LO is rear-facing in a convertible seat. Do the mats help? Other ideas besides not giving food? TIA!!!

I have one that goes under the seat. I got it after a road trip left a really nasty pile of goldfish crumbs under the seat. I also got it to keep DS's dirty shoes off the back of the seat when he was rear facing.

Car seat protectors are an after market product and thus void the warranty.

They are not recommended for use because they can mask a bad install. If you really feel you need something a thin towel or receiving blanket may be used.

If nothing else, you could plan to vaccuum it out regularly. I just cleaned out DS's seat, and it was pretty crumby. I prefer than than using after-market products that could make the seat not function properly in a crash. If I did use s
