Doubler with newborn prefolds/fitteds?

Hi all- I'm starting to put together my shopping list for our newborn stash.  I'm planning to use prefolds and fitteds with covers for this stage- is there a need for doublers for newborns?  I want to be sure we have everything we need.  In addition to the actual diapers & covers, we're planning to buy:

-2 pail liners

-2 wetbags (for out and about)

-3 packs of cloth wipes

-diaper potion concentrate & spray bottle

-3 pack of snappies

 

Is there anything I'm missing that you can see?  And if we should get doublers, how many do you think we would want?  Thanks!

    I never needed doublers for the newborn stage, but as they got older I used hemp doublers with prefolds and in pockets. GL!

    We did prefolds and fitteds for the newborn stage.  I would say at about 4 weeks my little guy had a couple of leaks at night b/c of absorbancy issues, and that was with him only sleeping for a 4-5 hour stretch.  I purchased three different k

    I think the 3 pack of Snappis will be fine.  IMO they are cheaper buying the 3 pack than each individually. &

    Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
    BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.

    We definititely didn't use a doubler in the newborn stage. We also used fitteds and prefolds and I loved them but ended up using some disposable diapers when she had her umbilical cord because I found the covers and diapers would rub against the cord and
