Babies: 3 - 6 Months

s/o pacifiers...

What age can most babies put the paci back in by themselves? Just curious... I'm not really wanting to get rid of the paci just yet but we are having a problem with him waking up and crying in the middle of the night if its out. If I still have several months before that happens I might try to wean him from it...

  • Our son just learned to do it. He is going to be 5 months this coming saturday...however, he isn't too attached to it. If your son is crying for the paci I might try leaving a hand out of the swaddle if you swaddle him.

  • Our LO started kinda being able to do it around 5.5 months, but it really depends on how he holds the paci when he tries to put it back in...it's by no means a sure thing that he can do it!
