Fundraising...

I suck at it. DH has type 1 diabetes and we're walking in the JDRF walk for diabetes this weekend. I've made multiple posts about it on my facebook page and made multiple announcements at work and church. So far I have raised $0 beyond what I donated myself. I just don't like pestering people for money. It feels weird. I suppose I'm way too late asking for advice since I only have a matter of days... Anyways, do you ladies have any tips on fundraising?

I don't know what I'm going to do when LO is in school someday and we have to try to sell $2 worth of popcorn for $15...

    I'm sorry nobody donated yet, that sucks. Could you write up a short, but personal background story and explain why this matter is close to your heart? Then maybe include a link to some website that explains what Type 1

    I am also horrible at fundraising, but very good at getting suckered into buying $2 popcorn for $15 as well as loads of wrapping paper, cookie dough, and cheesecakes....

    My DH is a type 1 diabetic as well. T

    I raised 4000 for the Leukemia and lymphoma society. I sent out a personal letter to everyone I know, posted my fundraising link on FB every couple of days, and had a yard sale. GL!!!

    Im walking in the susan g komen 3 day in boston in july and i alsk have to raise money. I need 2300 and im at 1500 so far. Stopping in at local businesses with a little info and a business card size thing with a little info and a link helped a lot. Make
