LO has been going thru her 6 week growth spurt which means she's been a total grouch this week. If she wasn't sleeping she was fussing or crying, and she wasn't even sleeping well. I got so desperate this week I put her in the car to drive her around because she always goes right to sleep in the car.
Well I was finally looking forward to the weekend because DH would be home to help and I had my first hair appointment since having her yesterday. It was so nice and refreshing.
Well skip to this morning, LO is up and won't go back down by 5:30am. Grouchy and crying. DH spends almost 40 min in the bathroom uhg men, what do they even do in there while I'm struggling in our room with her. I know he can here her crying and my frustration, but does he speed it up so he can help? Nope. Then we go downstairs to eat breakfast and LO falls asleep for a little while, while he's drinking his coffee I do some dishes, wipe the counter and some other chores. I ask him if he can please help me clean up and lets just get it done now since the IL are coming over later. "Uhggg can I just drink my coffee" Fine I say. 20 Min later I ask again if we can just get started on this and get it out of the way. I'm greeted by this response " I get 2 days a week to relax can't you just let me relax"..... Well after the week I've had with her you can bet that this response enraged me. I get NO days to relax....NONE. Of course when I got mad and said that he got all huffy and started cleaning all the while slamming thing around like a child. And I just let him be mad. Because I was mad too.
Now I'm upstairs to finish the cleaning while he sits with LO, but really I'm up here crying and typing this. I secretly just wanted to clean the upstairs bc I wanted a break! I was actually looking forward to cleaning...as my break...
Uhg! I love DH and he's usually pretty helpful but boy did he set me off today.

Men. It took DH until LO was 2 weeks old to adjust. So, I guess he adjusted quickly but he was a big baby while adjusting. Literally he was in the hospital with me getting huffy that I asked him to get me water because he was eating. Seriously? I just
