cutting & threats of suicide

that is what we are dealing with my sd13, we put her into a treatment facility post haste, yesterday to be exact, today was the orientation.  was her biological mother anywhere to be found, nope.  she asked us to postpone admitting her until monday so she could have ample time to take off work.  she is self employed, hello!  meanwhile dh and I who are neither one self employed had no problem being at the treatment facility all day yesterday for the admission, this morning for the orientation, then to the school to square things away with her studies. 

and to top things off, she is now 30 minutes late to get the kids for her scheduled visitation after not seeing them for almost a month!

vent over, I am going to pour a glass or wine and get into the jacuzzi with my husband as soon as the kids are gone.

    Imho you did the right thing.  waiting for the right timing is poor judgement.  hope everyone has a speedy recovery

    I agree that you did the right thing. That's not something you put off. BM even suggesting that makes me think she's extremely selfish. She should have dropped everything to be there for her daughter.

    You did the right thing!  Cutting and suicide threats must be taken at face value. 

    Good luck and I hope that SD gets the help that she needs to heal.
