Night sweats

I'm exactly 1 week pp today (at some point ill spend some time trying to figure out why TB won't save my siggy changes) and still sweating like crazy at night and I'm only sleeping in a nursing bra and underwear. Anyone else?  How long does this last?!  I don't remember the after dd1.

Re: Night sweats

  • I haven't experienced this but I hear it is very common. Good luck, hopefully it won't last much longer!

  • Happened with DS1 and lasted a few days. Yucky feeling but it passes. Can't wait to experience it this time too. Now go shower. Geez. Hehe.
  • I'm 2 weeks PP sleeping in same thing and wake up drenched
  • I sweated like that for about 2 weeks PP. I woke up soaked every morning.
  • Four weeks pp and still happening. Apparently it lasts longer when you're BF, according to Dr. Google. So gross.

  • This only happened to me after my fourth kid.  All the others I didn't experience it but with #4 it was shockingly horrific so I know the feeling.  It does pass though usually after a week or so.  Hang in there.

  • DD is 16 days old, and I'm still waking up soaked. The first week was much worse, and I alternated sweating with the chills, but I'm still waking up sweaty now.

  • With DS it lasted for two or three weeks and I HATED it!  One of the things I'm least looking forward to, but it does go away eventually.

  • 3 weeks pp and still happening. Started the night he was born. I'm breast feeding,  I hear that will make it last longer. I can't wait till it passes!

  • This happened to me too. Your body is getting rid if excess fluid. Try to eat foods that promote fluid excretion like parsley.
