Exercise

I keep reading all these posts from fellow bumpies who can't wait to go to the gym. I am so jealous that you feel that way! I an 7 weeks PP and still have 20 pounds to lose and I am soooo exhausted I can't even think about exercising. Am I doing something wrong here? I'm up all night with a baby then spend the whole day trying to keep up the house. How do people fit in time to go to the gym? I feel like I'm going to be carrying around these extra lbs forever.

  • I don't own a scale.  At 3 weeks PP, I'm waiting on my big reveal at my 6 week appt to find out how much weight I've lost.  Since I don't have time/clearance (csection) to go to the gym, I've been trying to incorporate LO in getting my muscle

  • Also...my doctor said at my one week checkup that it 'took nine months to put on all that weight' and to not be unrealistic when thinking about taking it off.  I like that advice!
  • I'm 7 weeks PP and for the past week I was able to go for a jog when DH got home from work. I'd go just 20 minutes, but can get in 2 miles, which I feel is much quicker than going to the gym. I think making it quick like this helps a lot. But you gotta as
